The house had 3 bedrooms, ping pong, and a hot tub. The weather was cold and snowy so it was nice to have enough room, but Kent was the only one to use the hot tub.

Christmas 2000 at Hummingbird Hill

We celebrated Christmas 2000 with Joe, Jon and their families in mid-January 2001 in
Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio. We rented a house -- "Hummingbird Hill" -- and enjoyed each
other's company for 2 days. At left, Leslie is reading to Madison and Pierce.

We had quite a few "hot" ping pong games and pretty good competition. Even Pierce got involved! |

| "Grandpa Kent" hit the books, too! He and Pierce spent time on the porch that overlooked the wooded back yard. They listened for sounds. They heard cows and a few birds, but the cold weather had most of the animals in their shelters. |
